MISSION

The mission of the Green Trails PTO is to promote the social, emotional and educational development of our students, support the staff, and to encourage parent volunteerism and community involvement in our school.

WHERE DO FUNDS GO?

The Green Trails PTO puts together many of the programs, events and initiatives that help make Green Trails Elementary School the special place that it is!

Green Trails PTO provides funding and volunteers for enrichment programs, teacher appreciation, school parties and support of activities. We also give a large amount to the school at the end of each year for needs that are decided among the staff. The very important, big-ticket items which greatly benefit our students and make us a leader in Parkway in terms of technology. For the start of the 2019-2020 school year, the PTO purchased 25 Google Expedition kits to provide classrooms across all grade levels with Augmented and Virtual Reality learning opportunities. Previous years major gifts have included Chromebooks, Kindles, and SMARTBoards.  Ask any of our teachers if they are thankful for this technology and you will hear a resounding "YES"!
